So last week (here) I showed you how I like to mix some prints (a graphic city print scarf and stripes). This week I’m back at it, in front of the same garage door, using the same tee, just in a different color combo.

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again. I, like Jenna Lyons, believe that leopard is a neutral. It goes with all the colors. It is mellow enough not to fight for too much attention (just like these stripes). And it’s classic, just like stripes, which makes it so easy to mix and match.

Also, brag alert…this whole outfit costs about $50. Maybe. $8 tee (thanks Target!), $20 skirt (major sale at Ann Taylor Loft), $5-8 street scarf (in London or NYC, I’ve had it forever), and $15 pumps (thrifted). Major style for little bucks. That’s my motto. Plus, none of these pieces will ever really go out of style.

ps. Try not to get blinded by my legs.

I love the rich colors. And whatever Jenna says is the law.

  • Great mix of animal print with the stripes, girl!

  • Kaci

    I absolutely love that skirt!

    • Thanks Kaci! Ann Taylor Loft has been really on point for the last few seasons! Great classics and great fun pieces.

LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!! I should probably just buy that striped tee next time I’m at Target. The color combo catches my eye every time. That skirt style looks really good on you.

    • Amy – I love blue and red, so it was a no-brainer for me to buy the shirt…those colors PLUS stripes. Super awesome. And thank you! The skirt style is a departure from my normal pencil skirts, so I appreciate that!
