“Blogger Boyfriend” in his natural habitat and ready to go with his camera bag.

Last post from the honeymoon, and sadly, you’ll have to wait a bit for the wedding photos (though I’ll try to redo the rehearsal dinner look soon, since I loved it)! Good things come to those who wait?! :)

The last morning that we were in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, I convinced The Husband to get up early to see the sunrise. Turns out the time I thought (6:15am!) was not early ENOUGH! The sun was up and ready to go for the day. I still enjoyed the peaceful quiet of the beach (since no one was there) and all the golden sunlight with my love.

You know what makes for a good outfit at 6:15am? The world’s easiest skirt (elastic is your friend when you’re at an all-inclusive and maybe had too many “tiny” pieces of tres leches cake the night before) with a fun print and a basic black tee. And your favorite $10 shades that have lasted way longer than you thought they would when you bought them to wear as a camp counselor (from 2007!). That’s it. Easy peasy, lemon squeezy.

Have a great weekend friends!

These photos are awesome and make me wish/want/seek the beach NOW. Your skirt is so cute and your haircut is even cuter. Your co-workers were right. I’d love to see you style it with barrettes too, though. =)

    • Ada – you’re so sweet! (and a good reminder to bring out the barrettes…someday soon, I guess)! Thanks again!

This looks amazing, what a great trip! Love your skirt too, adorable.
