*“What I Wish I Wore Wednesday” utilizes Polyvore to show you an outfit with all Target items normally. This week’s post is featuring all ModCloth items as part of a fun challenge and is still a way to show what I wish I was wearing this Wednesday and just how easy it is to look cute on a budget.
A little switch up to your weekly routine…normally this post features all Target items, but the lovely people at ModCloth reached out and wanted to see if I could style a look around a dress from their website. I had just talked about how I was loving everything on their website lately, so of course I said yes!
This Wednesday, I am wishing I was in London! About five years ago (almost to the date), I was studying abroad in a summer program in London, and I’d love to be back in the city (the studying I could do without)! I loved the history, the landmarks, the Saturday street markets, and the transportation (HUGE fan of the Underground/Tube – mind the gap!).
ModCloth asked me to style a look specifically around this lovely navy dress. I chose a casual look that would be great for site-seeing or a day in class, but keep in mind that this dress would work so well with a study abroad program. It can be styled so many ways (going out with a pair or heels, presentation in class with a blazer, etc.) and is great for that limited luggage space. I chose to pair it with a pair of oxford flats for all the walking and a green jacket which is perfect for the occasional rain storms or colder weather in London. The satchel is great for lugging notebooks and a travel book, and the accessories are just a nod to the area and the travel aspect.
So while I’m trying not to book the next flight to London, what do you think of this look?!

*This post was not sponsored. But if my outfit is chosen as the best, ModCloth will feature my look on their Polyvore account, which is pretty cool! As always, all opinions are my own.
