Fall Capsule #1: Fur Get About It

DSC088221DSC088231DSC088301DSC088271

The best/cheesiest thing I do all day is try to come up with post titles. Because I’m all about the puns, ’bout those puns, no treble (insert Meghan Trainor’s song, “All About the Bass” here), and there’s nothing I love more than a little word play action. Hope you can handle that if you’re new to the blog!

In other news, this outfit was pretty much ripped right off the back of the lovely See Jane (thanks Anna Jane!). See her original look here, and ask her where I can find an awesome stairwell to take photos in during this terrible cold and drizzly weather we’re having here in Indiana.

Good news? A faux fur scarf (scored on major sale last year, but there’s one below for under $15!) and a warm, cozy sweater help to beat the winter drizzle blues. Which I’m already having. Because I’m a big baby.

Love the animal print skirt – I’m trying to get more bold and incorporate some more animal print in my wardrobe, but always fear looking like Peg Bundy.

    • Hahahahaha! As long as you keep away from the green/black zebra print, you might be able to avoid that comparison! It all depends on the print, in my experience!

  • It’s hard to knock the blues when there’s no sunshine and blue skies to take care of them! You did a great job creating this inspired look. I love them both!

    • Completely agree! Indiana has had like one day with sun in the last two weeks, but we might get to see that gorgeous sun tomorrow, so I’m holding on. And now I’m talking about the weather on my blog…typical 80-year-old Katie! ;) Thanks, Meghan!

  • I’ve been looking for a faux fur stole like this – love yours! And the recreated look is perfect. So fun yet chic and professional enough for work.

    • p.s. clearly I was reading too fast because the last two sentences of your post kind of ran together and all I saw was the “having” from the first of them and the “a big baby” from the second and I was all !?!?!?! until I reread. Ha.
