There are a million great things about being a style blogger: being a part of a creative community, knowing your “good angle”, talking with people all over the country (and world) who visit your blog, the occasional free swag, and lastly, a great excuse to print mix (even when your mom thinks you are crazy for doing so). But really you don’t have to be a style blogger to recreate this look, and you can’t really beat a good print mixing, especially when it involves this much holiday red!
I blatantly stole this print mixing look from Anna Jane over at See Jane. She’s basically the best, and based off my Pinterest pins (here if you don’t already follow me), I could just redo outfits of hers for weeks on end. She’s classically cool style wise, and her photos recently have been out-of-this-world good. Keep it up, lady…you know, so I have more outfits to steal!
This was one of those outfits were it was super easy to throw on…coat, tee, beanie, jeans, and ankle boots, but it looks ridiculously stylish thanks to the pattern mixing. It works, because there is a consistent color scheme and the prints are simple enough on their own.
Needless to say, this is one that is definitely safe to try at home! ;)
