Ten Things I’ve Loved This Past Week on The Internet:

  1. If this wrap fringe skirt came in a different color pattern, it would be mine, mine, mine (said like the seagulls from Finding Nemo…you know the scene here). I love how simple and fresh they styled it on the model!
  2. Blogger love of the week: I showcased Nicole last week in the the 10 Things Tuesday post, and I’m not sorry to be featuring her again! I love this easy breezy fall/winter weekend look on her, and more importantly, I love her honesty in this post. Get it girl!
  3. In this week’s edition of things I love from Tommy Hilfiger: this chambray polka dot dress! Layer it with tights, ankle boots, and a cardigan now, and with flats and a bright bag in spring!
  4. 15 of the most colorful places in the world! All of them so bright…and all of them so in need of a visit from me! ;)
  5. Did you guys hear about Barbie’s makeover? She now comes in several different shapes and sizes, and while Barbie probably has a long way to go in terms of diversity (though she has ALL the jobs), I’m loving that girls now can have a doll that looks like them (or the strong female role models in their lives).
  6. If you’re going on a warm weather trip any time soon (or trying to make it through winter by thinking of summer), these Target sandals are an excellent option! Perfectly neutral and looks almost like a Madewell dupe, while only being $23! Score. And speaking of sandals, yes, the glitter sandals that everyone loves are back (here)…and they come in black this year! Grab them before they sell out again for the fourth year in a row…
  7. I took this list of 10 ways that you’re ruining your own life to heart. So often, I get caught up on the little details that don’t matter, and I need to step back and look at the big picture. I thought it was such a nice, honest reminder to cut yourself (and others in your life) some slack.
  8. This bow-tie polka dot blouse is the work blouse that dreams are made of! It also comes in three solid colors (here) if dots aren’t your thing!
  9. And after you read the list of 10 ways that you’re ruining your life…make sure to read this list of 22 tiny nice things to do for yourself daily. Because we’re all (for the most part) just trying our best!
  10. This mint satchel is the perfect pop of color to brighten your look, and it has the ability to wear crossbody or carry with the top strap…aka my favorite kind of purse! I can’t wait to bust out my mint purse in the coming months!
  11. BONUS: Guys? Was I the only one that wasn’t BLOWN away by the Who What Wear collection at Target (see the full collection here)? I was a little let down and walked away with nothing. I feel like I should design a collection for them that way I could get the exact items I am craving to get in my closet. Let’s start a petition okay? ;)

Chambray, polka dots, dress…these are all words I like. Good find :)

  • I really liked some of the Who What Wear items online, but then when I checked them out in store…they seemed more lackluster. Everything was pretty see-through, which is a pet peeve of mine. Still kind of wishing I had bought one of the colorblock clutches though!

  • I wanted to know what was up with the giant ruffle down the front of the dot peplum top? It looked really cheap. I liked some of the pieces but felt they really only fit a certain body type. And that type really wasn’t mine.

  • Ooh yes I think I DO need those sandals for my warm weather trip. And now I live so small town that my Target doesn’t even have the Who What Wear stuff! So I’ve not seen it… Do love your cozy monochrome and furry look here though!
