You know what’s really cool about being a blogger (besides making friends on the internet with you all and telling you all my really bad jokes)?

When you get the chance to work with a brand that you really really love! Uniqlo is one of those brands that has a permanent home in my closet…and my heart for that matter (this stripe dress (here) might be my favorite clothing purchase ever)! The company offers clothes that are the epitome of my favorite style phrase “basics that aren’t basic.”

Uniqlo offers gingham print scarves, bold graphic stripe sweaters, and bright-but-still-work-appropriate blouses (among scores of other items). All items that can help create a classic, timeless look without boring you to death in a sea of blah (I should probably trademark that phrase…any help, Sarah?).

Oh, and did I mention? It’s all super, duper affordable (and they frequently offer free shipping). Like today, when you can get free shipping on orders over $50!

I paired this gorgeous dove gray blouse (made of rayon, the material that never wrinkles…even when you sit hunched over at a desk all day) with my plaid blazer and navy flare skirt for an outfit that definitely keeps me looking classy, but not boring. No seas of blah here (and no ironing either…#win)!

I love this blouse so much (and can think of so many ways to wear it) that I think I’ll be ordering the red one next (though the mint green one is super pretty and unique)! Check out some more of my favorite picks from Uniqlo below, and let me know what are your favorite non-basic basics?

And be sure to check back in tomorrow to see how I wear another Uniqlo item for the weekend!

I love Uniqlo – I only wish we had one in Indy so I could try things on in store! I always visit a store if I’m in LA or NYC.
