Debuting the short hair on the blog, and here’s how I feel about it!

MEH.

I love the style, but I haaaaaaaaaaate the length. I feel like I always end up with a hairdresser that cuts it too short (anyone else relate to this?). I would love it if it was about 2 inches longer, which according to Google will be in roughly four months (hey there October).

But in the meantime (and let’s not kid ourselves…after hours of whining to my mom and The Husband), I’m going to embrace the breeze on my neck, my shorten blow drying time, and my new hair.

Plus, when you’re wearing your favorite new skirt and the perfect summer outfit (with a hint of print mixing…can you see it?), how big of a deal is a slightly-too-short haircut anyways? ;)

ps. Since I had a backlog of photos, the next week (or so) of outfits will feature my longer hair, so don’t get too confused…I didn’t glue it back on! ;)

Don’t be crazy, girl! This cut looks fabulous on you. Not too short at all. You just need an adjustment period is all. It really does look fresh and flattering!

Your hair looks cute! It’s always difficult to get used to a new style though. I recently got a cut somewhere around the same length (and it was down to my waist) and I am really loving the versatility I have now – and the shortened styling time! ;)

  • I think it looks GREAT! My mom and I always call the first few days after a cut “hair shock” – it never cooperates quite right, but then you all get used to each other and get happy again :) Shorter blow drying time is a major perk for summer too! Love the denim jacket + skirt combo as always.

Looks too long to me! ;) Sorry you don’t like it though. I’ve had haircuts that I felt meh about and it’s no fun. But it WILL grow.

  • Ahhhh i love your hair! Hopefully you get used to it before October! The length looks so fresh and summery on you.

I’m going and getting my hair colored tomorrow and I’m super excited but REALLY nervous. What if I hate it? Ahhhhhh hair shock is so real.
