No matter what you call it, I’m into it in a big way. Especially sangria! ;)
This dark red shade was a huge color trend last year when Pantone annouced “marsala” as its 2015 Color of the Year. And it’s back this year as an “it color” for the coming fall season! And naturally, since it’s a relative of red, I can’t get enough and need some new maroon/oxblood/burgundy/sangria/crimson pieces in my life.
I think it pairs well with all neutrals, so that’s why I included the two non-maroon pieces in the roundup. Wear them all together or mix them up! Because even though no one can narrow down a name for the color, I can still wear it! ;)
