Five for Friday, Vol. 17 – Looking to March

*”Five for Friday” is where I feature five items from Target’s website that I am lusting after and feel could work wonders, if I had them in my daily wardrobe.

Oh, hey!

First off, happy (early) birthday to my lovely mother/mom/Schmom (the awesome nickname I’ve given her)! Thanks for reading the blog everyday and telling me when you think an outfit is cute and when I’ve made a grammar mistake. You rock, and I am lucky to have such a supportive and loving mom!

Secondly, I’ve given up on buying winter items and have turned my attention to spring clothing and accessories. I’ve already added the bike sweatshirt (if you saw my Instagram, The Fiance bought it for me), but wanted to share it for all of you, since it is available online. The other four items are ones that I am lusting over to keep my spring looks fresh and clean!

  1. Mossimo Supply Co. Bike Sweatshirt (unreal how much this was made for me)
  2. Merona 3/4 Sleeve Pullover Sweater
  3. Mossimo Supply Co. Wingtip Shoes
  4. Pave Infiniti Charm Chain Bracelet (adorable)
  5. Mossimo Supply Co. Crossbody Handbag (I can’t even stand how great the tassel is)

Five for Friday, Vol. 17 – My Loves

Happy Valentine’s Day, readers! I thought instead of doing a regular Five For Friday post that I would do one that features some things that I love (since we know it is NEVER about the material goods, even though it may seem like it sometimes).

No links today, just love. Have a great one!

ps. There was a million different things I could have listed (including family, friends, and chocolate). These are five of my top 10 that I have pictures of!

  1. The Fiance
  2. Travel
  3. The Puppy (Cooper)
  4. Coffee
  5. Bikes

Five for Friday, Vol. 16 – Dress It Up

*”Five for Friday” is where I feature five items from Target’s website that I am lusting after and feel could work wonders, if I had them in my daily wardrobe.

I have been lusting after an orange dress for about 2 years now. I think they have the potential to be a perfect spring/summer dress, because orange ends up working well a variety of other colors and patterns, and it is a perfect citrus hue for the warm weather (that we may eventually have, who knows?).  I love how this dress looks online, and I might have to order it to see if it is “my” orange dress!

I’m also constantly looking to add necklaces to enhance my pieces. I love how all of these necklaces look on their own, but furthermore, how they would work with the dress. You could work with neutrals (white necklace or silver arrows), play with a monochromatic look (orange spike necklace), or go with a bold pop of contrasting color (blue necklace). Super fun and easy to create new looks.

  1. Merona Ponte Fit & Flare Dress
  2. Long Silver Arrow Necklace
  3. Blue/Silver Bib Necklace
  4. White Bib Necklace
  5. Spike Necklace

Five for Friday, Vol. 15 – Spring Wants

*A feature that I am going to run on Fridays (along with a daily outfit post) is called “Five for Friday.” I’ll be featuring five items from Target’s website that I am lusting after and feel could work wonders, if I had them in my daily wardrobe.

I may or may not be ordering four out of five of these bad boys this weekend. I mean, everyone is ready for spring, and these pieces can definitely help my wardrobe make the transition from winter wear to springtime gear.

Polka dots and stripes instantly make me happy, and so does spring, so I’m looking to add EVEN more of my favorite prints to my wardrobe with this top (tiny polka dots) and this bold black/white skirt (confession: I already bought it). The red on the bag makes it an excellent pop of color for any outfit. I’ve been seeing so many pins on Pinterest that I love that feature white Converse shoes, and these are a great cheaper option made by the Converse people. Lastly, who doesn’t love a good heart tee?

  1. Xhilaration Graphic Tee
  2. Merona Striped Ponte Skirt (I think this piece is going to sell out quick!)
  3. Merona 3/4 Refined Dot Tee
  4. Merona Crossbody Purse (also super on sale online in purple)
  5. Converse One Star Sneakers

What pieces are you looking to add to your wardrobe just in time for spring? Let me know in the comments!

Five for Friday, Vol. 14 – Shoes, Shoes, Shoes

*A feature that I am going to run on Fridays (along with a daily outfit post) is called “Five for Friday.” I’ll be featuring five items from Target’s website that I am lusting after and feel could work wonders, if I had them in my daily wardrobe.

Bad news for my wallet (and budget). Target is starting to trickle out its spring wares, and these five pairs of adorable shoes have all been recently uploaded to Target.com. I would be quite happy if all of these (or just one, beggars can’t be choosers) magically ended up in my shoes shelves in my closet.

The mint is spot on for spring. The wedge boots are almost like Toms Desert Wedge Boots. The striped wedges are perfect for summer (and match the color scheme of my wedding). The gold ballet flats are dainty and sweet. And the tortoise shell heels are a little bit funky and perfect for jazzing up your office wear.

  1. Merona Mallory Loafers
  2. Mad Love Ankle Booties
  3. Merona Espadrille Wedges
  4. Merona Ballet Flats
  5. Merona Natasha Heels

Watch out for the spring shoes popping up in your local Target!
