You were experiencing a navy shortage on this blog, right?
Not on my watch. Don’t worry…I got you with today’s post. Forrest Gump had shrimp, I bring endless amounts of navy.
Navy trench. Navy tee. Navy purse. Navy earrings. Navy navy navy.
And some touches of brown/tan to keep you from a navy overload. Plus, I’m in love with these heels from Target. Perfect transition piece for spring…if it ever gets here again!
Jean jackets, fit and flare dresses, stripes, annnnnd my favorite mini wedge sandals?
This outfit has got them all.
Which probably means that this is what I am going to wear all day, every day for the rest of my life…well, at least until tights season returns! Brrrrrrrrrr. ;)
Doesn’t this just look like the most perfect travel outfit?
Throw on some basics (stripes for the win) with a hint of a trend (hello neck scarf) and be sure to pack some necessities in your large tote (water, snacks, and some lip balm) and wear your comfiest sneaks.
We’ve got sights to see.
Or at least I wish we did…since my vacation ended last week, and I’m working today. But that’s why this is What I WISH I Wore Wednesday, so back to planning my next vacation and more importantly, actually working to earn those vacation days! ;)
Truth be told, I probably AM wearing a similar outfit to this one today, as we explore Austin! Because a jean jacket is a suitcase staple no matter where I am traveling to and because polka dots are a pattern that I just can’t quit.
And because the more scallops on your feet, the more Austin street tacos you get to eat.
Or something like that. ;)
Yes, I built this whole post around these pants.
And no I’m not mad about it.
Because they’re more versatile than you might think (imagine them with a cream sweater or a white tee and jean jacket or a black blazer and on and on), and I can almost guarantee that you’ll never feel dull in them.
Definitely NOT dull.
