To rip off the Spice Girls…people of the world,
spice color up your life!
Just popping in to share a few pieces to get you through the spring to summer jump, because holy moly, it is almost May which means it is almost summer (even though it’s still very much April). What can I say, I’m impatient!
While these five items would make a good looking spring outfit on their own, they certainly can be mixed and matched in a variety of ways. Pair the sunglasses and the skirt with your favorite graphic tee. Try the straw espadrilles and the clutch with your favorite sundress. Or wear them all on their own with other pieces that you already own!
The possibilities are endless…like those sweet summer days heading our way!
Do you guys know how difficult it is to find a non-see-through white dress that is long enough (but isn’t a midi) and doesn’t have off-the-shoulder/bell-sleeves?
Because let me tell you… IT. IS. HARD.
I’ve probably ordered and returned about 8 white dresses this season, and they were all wrong for some reason or another. But this little white number from Gap comes in tall sizes (along with regular and petite) and appears to be a good length online. And we’ll see when it arrives if it isn’t see-through! ;) Here’s hoping…especially since it is 40% off with code TODAY!
As for the rest of the picks? Well, I simply thought that they would work well together or separate in creating a spring-y outfit around this little white dress!
Just make sure you don’t pair the dress with your favorite red sauce or chocolate ice cream…and if you do, bring ALL the napkins! ;)
Sally does spring down by the seashore in stripes, sandals, and sunny shades.
Now say that 5 times fast.
Now say that 5 times fast while wearing this outfit. At least now you look pulled together, even if you sound completely ridiculous. ;)
How pretty and cheerful do all these colors look? After a long season of drab winter shades and drab winter scenes, it’s so refreshing to see bright blue skies and lush green lawns…and sandals, skirts, and accessories in every color you can imagine.
So while, I certainly can’t paint with all the colors of the wind (how do you get it to stay on your palette), I can throw in all the colors of the rainbow into a blog post and call it a day.
Presto, change-o. Blog post! ;)
