Five for Friday, Vol. 19 – Airy Accessories

*”Five for Friday” is where I feature five items from Target’s website that I am lusting after and feel could work wonders, if I had them in my daily wardrobe.

Last Friday’s Five for Friday post (here) mentioned that I’m wanting to lean to a more clean and simple look this spring (don’t worry, my stripes and animal graphic sweaters aren’t going anywhere). I’m still on that simple feel this Friday with my picks, which all happen to be accessories. All five pieces are light and airy and will generally work with a lot of style and color palettes. They’re neutral without being boring, you know?

Check them out below, as I debate whether to buy one or all of them…

  1. Capsule by Cara Arrow Bracelets
  2. Merona Floral Ivory Print Scarf
  3. Women’s Statement Necklace (how to make this a wedding expense? ;) )
  4. Merona Blurred Flower Scarf
  5. Xhilaration Patterned Tights

Five for Friday, Vol. 18 – Feelin’ Fresh

*”Five for Friday” is where I feature five items from Target’s website that I am lusting after and feel could work wonders, if I had them in my daily wardrobe.

Another Friday, another day that I wish I had $100 free to go shopping at Target (and a bigger closet, always a bigger closet).

So all these pieces kind feature a southern vibe (in my opinion), and I’m definitely feel a clean and simple feel to my spring wardrobe additions. Gingham, rain boots, and fresh white? Count me in (but let’s watch out for the coffee spills, okay).

  1. Merona Collarless Blazer (how much longer can I hold off from ordering this beauty!)
  2. Merona Chino Shorts
  3. Merona Cork Skinny Belt
  4. Women’s Classic Rain Boots (looks like Hunter boots to me)
  5. Merona Favorite Shirt (classic shape, classic print)

Five for Friday, Vol. 17 – Looking to March

Oh, hey!

First off, happy (early) birthday to my lovely mother/mom/Schmom (the awesome nickname I’ve given her)! Thanks for reading the blog everyday and telling me when you think an outfit is cute and when I’ve made a grammar mistake. You rock, and I am lucky to have such a supportive and loving mom!

Secondly, I’ve given up on buying winter items and have turned my attention to spring clothing and accessories. I’ve already added the bike sweatshirt (if you saw my Instagram, The Fiance bought it for me), but wanted to share it for all of you, since it is available online. The other four items are ones that I am lusting over to keep my spring looks fresh and clean!

  1. Mossimo Supply Co. Bike Sweatshirt (unreal how much this was made for me)
  2. Merona 3/4 Sleeve Pullover Sweater
  3. Mossimo Supply Co. Wingtip Shoes
  4. Pave Infiniti Charm Chain Bracelet (adorable)
  5. Mossimo Supply Co. Crossbody Handbag (I can’t even stand how great the tassel is)

Five for Friday, Vol. 17 – My Loves

Happy Valentine’s Day, readers! I thought instead of doing a regular Five For Friday post that I would do one that features some things that I love (since we know it is NEVER about the material goods, even though it may seem like it sometimes).

No links today, just love. Have a great one!

ps. There was a million different things I could have listed (including family, friends, and chocolate). These are five of my top 10 that I have pictures of!

  1. The Fiance
  2. Travel
  3. The Puppy (Cooper)
  4. Coffee
  5. Bikes

Five for Friday, Vol. 16 – Dress It Up

*”Five for Friday” is where I feature five items from Target’s website that I am lusting after and feel could work wonders, if I had them in my daily wardrobe.

I have been lusting after an orange dress for about 2 years now. I think they have the potential to be a perfect spring/summer dress, because orange ends up working well a variety of other colors and patterns, and it is a perfect citrus hue for the warm weather (that we may eventually have, who knows?).  I love how this dress looks online, and I might have to order it to see if it is “my” orange dress!

I’m also constantly looking to add necklaces to enhance my pieces. I love how all of these necklaces look on their own, but furthermore, how they would work with the dress. You could work with neutrals (white necklace or silver arrows), play with a monochromatic look (orange spike necklace), or go with a bold pop of contrasting color (blue necklace). Super fun and easy to create new looks.

  1. Merona Ponte Fit & Flare Dress
  2. Long Silver Arrow Necklace
  3. Blue/Silver Bib Necklace
  4. White Bib Necklace
  5. Spike Necklace
