Five for Friday, Vol. 9 – So Tell Me What You Want

fiveforfriday

This no buying ban is getting old (even though I cheated, full disclosure here). I’m dying to go to Target, especially since my mom sent me a picture of the polka dot blazer that lives there. I’ve been trying to avoid going there at all, because I know that I will likely breakdown (again) and buy something – if not everything. I’ve been making a list of items that I have my eye on and want to purchase, and these five certainly have made it to the list. Now, which one wants to come home with me?

1. Mossimo Fit and Flare Ponte Dress
2. Merona Kadence Wedge Ankle Boot
3. Merona Colorblock Long Cardigan
4. Merona Striped Skirt
5. Geneva Gold/Tortoise Chain Link Watch

Five for Friday, Vol. 8

*A feature that I am going to run on Fridays (along with a daily outfit post) is called “Five for Friday.” I’ll be featuring five items from Target’s website that I am lusting after and feel could work wonders, if I had them in my daily wardrobe.

It has been so COLD here all week, and I am declaring it time for warm and comfy snuggles all winter long. To achieve that, grab your warmest lounge clothes, pop some popcorn, pick a movie, and slip on some slippers. Boom. Winter problems solved. If you’re feeling fancy, add in a touch of hot chocolate.

To fill your slipper needs, check out these warm finds from Target!

1. Gilligan & O’Malley Cable Fur Boot
2. Chaia Sparkle Moccasin Slipper
3. Gilligan & O’Malley Lounge Slipper
4. Xhilaration Slipper Socks
5. Nick & Nora Lounge Slipper

Guys, Target seems to have some amazing scarves for sale lately. I want them all. But as you all know, I am on a shopping ban until Christmas, which means imaginary shopping it is. Therefore, I declare this week’s Five for Friday’s feature to be ALL ABOUT SCARVES! So maybe you can buy them…and tell me about them…and mail them to me to let me steal borrow them? You guys rock.

1. Oversized City Lights Blue scarf (I actually purchased this one before my ban and I can’t wait to see how pretty it is in person)
2. Mossimo Supply Tree scarf (colorful and almost a piece of art)
3. Gold Leaf scarf (super chic and would look great with black this holiday season!)
4. Oversized Black Sheep scarf (it is no secret that I love me some animal graphic items and this one has a hidden black sheep. Dorbs to the max!)
5. Oversized Map scarf (love the map and how great would this be for a friend who loves to travel?)

Tell me what you think about these scarves?! Do you like an item-specific Five for Friday?

Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving. I ate too much dessert…story of my life. I’m off to look online for Black Friday deals, as I am too much of a wimp to battle the crowds. The five items I picked this week reflect the sweater sale that Target has been running all week. 40% off sweaters!

1. Merona bow cardigan (put a bow on it, and I’ll probably want it)
2. Merona colorblock sweater (like your classic cable knits, but cooler)
3. Merona Peter Pan cardigan (sweet with the Peter Pan collar and cool with the studs)
4. Merona open cardigan (love a good black/white graphic print and this one seems pretty swell)
5. Mossimo graphic sweater (love the mixing of patterns on this one)

Enjoy this sales and the family time during this weekend, and this sweater filled Five for Friday!

Five for Friday, Vol. 5

So a feature that I am going to run on Fridays (along with a daily outfit post) is called “Five for Friday.” I’ll be featuring five items from Target’s website that I am lusting after and feel could work wonders, if I had them in my daily wardrobe. The five I picked this week are to get prepared for the upcoming holidays with a black and gold combination.

1. Mossimo sequin shirt (perfect for both holidays and going out and would be great for New Years)
2. Target Limited Edition clutch (love the stripes and that this comes with a strap for crossbody wear)
3. Statement necklace (statement necklaces are such a cool trend right now and this one is at a reasonable price point compared to many other stores)
4. Xhilaration dress (I love their fit and flare dresses and this one would be great with a cardigan for an office party or family event)
5. Sam & Libby flats (classically cool smoking loafers, which are another huge trend this year)

Enjoy this week’s Black and Gold themed Five for Friday!
