Have Dress, Will Wear

This outfit kind of came together on its own. The dress by itself is pretty (though probably a size too big) but paired with the blazer and the navy tights, I think it really comes together. I love the built-in print mixing in this dress…and the red and blue combo, but you already knew that.

It was ANOTHER temperate day in Indiana, so it was the perfect timing to wear it. Some things just work out, you know?

Also, who is pumped that tomorrow is Friday? I know I am.

Official Style Blogger Look

This outfit is what I would call the “Official Style Blogger Look.” Statement necklace + some kind of stripes + chambray + layers + colored pants (I swear these are navy, though they look black in every single photo) + cool shoe = a winning look every time. Even the cuffed sleeve is on point.

I’m actually obsessed with this look. Are you?

Snowing All the Way

More snow is falling down here in Indiana (as you can tell). It took three times as long to get home from work today, but at least I made it! Sigh.

Fingers crossed for a snow day from work? Hot chocolate and a comfy new duvet are calling my name.

The Winds of Change

First off, thank you to everyone who left such nice comments here, on Instagram, and in real life. You’re all the best, and I adore you all. I found this nifty little photo + quote on Pinterest last night, and it sums up yesterday so well.

Now onto today (which was MUCH much better) and my outfit post, which is really what you are all here for anyways!

Continuing to do my Friday posts in a list format, so here we go!

Today’s fun highlights:

Today’s not-so-fun highlights:

Happy weekend to you all!

Another Day, Another Pair of Cords

Another day of winter, another pair of Cords for Katie. I wore cords on Monday (see them here), and today was especially cold, so it called for cords again (plus these ones are new, so of course they had to be worn soon). ‘Actually, everything in this outfit is being worn for the first time, except for my ankle boots…I wear them like every. single. day.

The best part about these cords?! They are from Ann Taylor Loft and cost $19. $19 for a pair of pants! Outrageous. I think the color of these is called “Dusty Cinnamon” which fits, but I am going to call them rust colored. That works for all of you at home, right?!

ps.Linking up with Bri at Work Clothes, I Suppose.

pps. Day 3 for me of Nicole at VV Boutique Style’s January Blackout Challenge!
